#172 From Flaw to Superpower with Seamus Evans
Oct 28, 2024Last week I had the privilege of being part of a conference and getting to experience Seamus Evans in action.
Who’s Seamus Evans – www.seamusevans.com
Seamus has Tourettes Syndrome and makes use of his apparent ‘flaw’ by turning it into a ‘presenting’ superpower.
He turns his mental and verbal ticks seamlessly into part of the audience experience.
If you were in the conference room with Seamus it would be impossible to avoid being infected by his energy and enthusiasm.
You’d have to work really hard not to be inspired by his story as an outcast school kid to being a legacy special award founder and inspiring continuous generations of schoolkids.
You’d be devoid of emotions if some part of you or someone you know wasn’t touched by his raw, authentic, powerful narrative in how he has shaped his own destiny using the cards that life has played him.
If you weren’t emotionally moved, you’re unmovable!!
Like you, I’ve seen 100’s of keynote speakers over the years.
Like you, I’ve been impressed with many speaker tales of rags to riches, trauma to triumph, or celebrity gossip stories but none have been more inspiring and entertaining than being in the conference room with Seamus.
We all know the mantras that are meant to help us live our best lives.
Be positive - Be optimistic - Look on the bright side - Things happen for a reason. But being in a room with Seamus not only reminds us of those mantras but we get a ring side seat in a fully immersive experience.
If you’re a conference organiser – book Seamus before he’s booked out.
If you’re an event organiser – get Seamus on your list of recommendations.
If you’re head of a department, organisation, school, church, NFP or anything where people are in need of inspiration and motivation – call Seamus now - Contact Seamus
